Digital staff for accounting firms.
Book verification, client correspondence, client profitability.
Bilans works, your people approve.
Pilot programme - places limited by the number of rollouts we can personally lead.
The Verifier
- Trade
- Checks the entries at every month-end close
- Delivers
- A deviation report, each finding reasoned and located
- Boundary
- Flags, never rules - the firm decides
01 · You know this from your own firm
The inbox eats the day
An accountant running fifty clients answers e-mail instead of keeping books.
There are no people
Recruiting a qualified accountant takes months and increasingly ends in nothing. The work does not wait.
Checks „when there is time”
Entries should be verified every month. In practice it happens before the annual statement - or not at all. That is where the problems start that the client discovers years later.
02 · Three things changed at once
| No. | Fact | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | KSeF e-invoicing - largest taxpayers | 1.02.2026 | Statutory fact |
| 02 | KSeF e-invoicing - all others | 1.04.2026 | Statutory fact |
| 03 | Qualified accountant | shortage occupation | Barometr zawodów (ministry report) |
| 04 | Digital-staff engine | over a year in production | Our own statement |
We state the dates as facts, not as a threat. Each change on its own is manageable - together they make the difference.
Every invoice becomes digital. For firms that means more rollout work - and, for the first time, a complete data set in one standard.
There will be fewer people, not more. Qualified accountant is a shortage occupation according to the Barometr zawodów report. No recruitment will close that gap.
The technology is ready for the books. Language models have learned to read accounting documents. What was missing was a product that turns this into a daily, controlled process. That is what Bilans is for.
03 · Meet the team
Every Bilans digital employee knows one trade. It learns your firm the way a new hire does: the procedures, the habits, the exceptions. Then it works - every day, with the same care.
The Verifier
Pilot programmeAt month-end close it checks the entries: sides, accounts, registers against the ledger, completeness. It delivers a deviation report with the reasoning and the location of each finding. Flags, never rules - the firm decides. Separately, it can review the work of a new hire during their trial period.
The Correspondent
Coming soonIt reads client questions and drafts replies from the firm's own material: procedures, templates, earlier correspondence. Everything waits in Drafts. A human always sends.
The Reckoner
Coming soonEvery month it calculates the profitability of each client from time records and invoices. It shows who is below the threshold the firm sets - before it surfaces at year-end.
The KSeF Assistant
In preparationIt helps the firm and its clients move to KSeF and keeps invoices consistent with the ledger.
04 · Three steps, no system replacement
You connect what you have
Exports from your accounting software, the mailbox, the drive. You do not replace the system your firm works on.
The team learns the firm
Over the first weeks the digital staff learn your procedures and rules - like any new employee, only faster.
A human approves
Every report, every reply, every decision passes through an authorised person. Every approval leaves a trace: who, what, when.
05 · What it gives your firm
Move the sliders to see how much work the Verifier takes off your team at month-end close. We then subtract two adjustments from the gross value, because not every hour recovered turns into money. The number we stand behind is the last one.
We count the three checks the Verifier performs today: entries against the registers, settlements, and the completeness checklist. We value an hour of a qualified person at 86 zł - the employer cost of a chief accountant (about 14,500 zł a month over 168 hours).
This is an estimate based on the hourly assumptions we are calibrating in the pilot - not an offer. Terms are agreed in conversation, because they depend on the size of the firm and the scope.

Let us start with the data, because that always comes first
Models do not train on your firm's data. Access through the API only, never through public chats.
Each firm works in an isolated environment with its own infrastructure layer.
The firm owns the data and all the knowledge built up. You can export the whole set at any time.
Personal data of the firm's clients is entrusted processing - governed by a contract, as with any subcontractor.
Nothing leaves the firm without a human »send«.
07 · Pilot programme
We test it where it really hurts
We run the pilot in Kamila Cieszkowska's accounting firm in Kraków - sixteen years of practice, more than a hundred and twenty companies under its care. It is also the firm of the product's co-author, so every control scenario is tested where it came from.
The trigger was one entrepreneur's test: checking a company's books with AI took him 20 minutes instead of about two hours by hand. We turn that test into a repeatable process - with rules, a decision trail and a human at the end.
Balanced
08 · Who is building it
Two of us build Bilans: an engineer and an accountant. That is why the product starts from a list of what actually breaks at month-end close, rather than from whatever the model happens to be good at.
Grzegorz Jaworek
Technology and product
Twenty years in technology: I started at Comarch in 2005, then ABB, HSBC, Cisco and PairSoft, up to VP of Engineering and CTO - teams of 10 to over 100 people on three continents.
Along the way I founded Anat Systems, the technology company where the digital-staff engine was built. The same engine powers GetIgors, a platform of digital co-workers for companies - Bilans has been running on it in production for over a year, not since yesterday.
I built the Verifier because for twenty years I saw the same thing: quality control that depends on whether there happened to be time for it eventually fails. In large teams I solved that with process and people - a small accounting firm needs a different tool for it.
I run the pilot personally - I'm not handing it to a sales team we don't have yet.
Kamila Cieszkowska
Accounting expertise
Since 2010 she has run Biuro Rachunkowe Podatnik P&K Cieszkowscy in Kraków - today more than a hundred and twenty companies under its care. Founding member of the Polish Chamber of Accounting Firms and holder of the Ministry of Finance accounting certificate.
The Verifier came out of her diagnosis, not out of a presentation about AI: firms need a coordinator for the accounting department, someone who reviews the team's work after month-end close and catches the critical points. Those people are barely on the market, and smaller firms could not afford them anyway.
Beyond her own firm she runs a programme for accounting-firm owners - from people with thirty years of practice to those just starting out. She was working on accounting automation long before Bilans, as a subject-matter partner at SaldeoSmart.
Kamila decides what the Verifier checks and in what order. Every control scenario goes through her firm before it reaches anyone else.
09 · Questions and answers
Will Bilans replace the accounting team?
No, and that is not what it was built for. It takes the repetitive work off the team: checking, searching, retyping, drafting replies. Decisions and responsibility stay where they were - with authorised people.
Who is responsible for the verification result?
The Verifier flags deviations and reasons every finding. A human rules. The report is an internal control tool for the firm - like a checklist, only completed line by line, every month.
What about my clients' data?
An isolated environment, model access through the API only, a data processing agreement. The firm owns the data and can take it at any time.
Do I have to change my accounting software?
No. We work on exports from your system; where the system has an API, we connect directly. We say plainly what cannot be done - instead of promising integrations that do not exist.
How is this different from OCR and document workflow?
OCR enters data into the books. Bilans assesses what is already booked, and the work around the books. It does not compete with your OCR - it sits one layer above.
What does it cost?
Pilot terms are agreed in conversation, because they depend on the size of the firm and the scope. Public pricing will appear after the pilot programme ends.
When can I start?
The pilot is running. We invite the second wave of firms from autumn 2026 - in order of application, with places limited by how many rollouts we can lead personally.
Do you operate outside Poland?
We start with Polish law and Polish firms. Further European markets follow their own mandatory e-invoicing deadlines.
