Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026. This policy describes what personal data we process in connection with getbilans.com and the Bilans pilot programme.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Grzegorz Jaworek, who runs the Bilans project. A company is being registered for the Bilans brand — once that is complete, we will update this section with the full registration details. For data-protection matters, you can contact him directly: hello@getbilans.com.

2. What data we process

The "Join the waiting list" form asks for: first name, e-mail address, firm name, and the number of entities you serve. Providing this data is voluntary but necessary for us to get in touch with you.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data solely to contact you about the Bilans pilot programme, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@getbilans.com — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Who we share data with

• Web3Forms — the service that delivers the contact form submission to our inbox.
• Our hosting provider — runs the server the site is served from.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Retention period

We keep enquiry data for the duration of pilot discussions, and afterwards — if no collaboration follows — for no longer than 12 months from the last contact, unless you agree to a longer period.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to data portability, and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

7. Cookies and analytics

The site currently does not use cookies or any analytics or tracking tools. If that changes, we will update this policy before deployment.

8. Security

Data belonging to the clients of the accounting firms we work with during the pilot is processed in isolated environments under a data-processing agreement — see the "About your data" section on the homepage for details.
